A&J Wedding – Hampshire
A&J’s wedding in Hampshire was one of the less ordinary ones in LightPulp’s photography experience. Held outside in a field (and later a marquee) in the middle of scenic rural countryside it was perfect for capturing some of the most gorgeous shots.
What also made this wedding different was the fact that the couple has done the legal bits a few days prior, what was left for me to capture on this day was the closest friends having a great afternoon together without the formalities and completely on their terms.
Gorgeous crowd and beautiful speeches were lit perfectly by the warm sun, refreshed a couple of times by five-minute rainy intervals. Tons of fresh air and music kept the mood light. Toward the evening the main act was revealed – the groom himself picked the fiddle for a reunion with his uni band and everyone set off for a session of kayleigh dancing.
In the end I was able to get some the most natural photos and, to top it all off, the feedback that I received from the couple was one of the warmest. Which for a wedding photographer that is the most encouraging thing about this job.

"We returned from our honeymoon a couple of days ago and it was a wonderful surprise to receive your photographs of our wedding - they are truly fantastic! The day for us seemed to fly past so quickly, and it's great to be able to 'rewind' the event by seeing the photos. We think the images are great - they are very creative and you managed to capture some of the little details that other more conventional photographers would have missed completely. Your style really fits with the type of wedding we had."
